Store Policy/Terms of Sale
When buying from Good Plantkeeping, you are agreeing to these terms.
All sales are Final, we do not accept returns. Plants can pick up pests and diseases from any where. Once they leave our hands, we cannot accept them back.
When shipping Live plants we do our best to pack them as safe as possible to with-stand any damage caused by shipping companies. With that said, we are not responsible for damages and delays caused by the shipping company.
If you receive your order damaged, please reach out to us within 12 hours of arrival. You must include pictures of the plants and the box for us to be able to best assist you. We may be able to help you save any damaged plants. And if the damage is clearly caused by GPK, we will issue a store credit for your order.
We also offer a Package Protection program through Route. Route will cover any shipping damage and late or lost packages. You can choose to add that to your order to ensure you are completely covered.
Shipping Plants in the Winter
Alright everyone, lets be honest here... Winter and plants do not mix well at all.
With that in mind, We aim to pack your plants through the winter so you can still receive that wishlist plant you've been dreaming of!
We use Thermal Bubble Wrap Insulation and 96-110 hour heat packs to provide these plants with the best possible shipping outcome. However, things do still happen. Delays with the shipping companies that prevent your package from reaching you in 96 hours can be a recipe for disaster.
We highly recommend upgraded shipping to help prevent these possibilities. UPS 2 Day and Overnight shipping are great options for the winter.
What You Need To Know
Heat Packs and Insulation
Please make sure to add a Heat pack if your nighttime temps are between 35 degrees and 30 degrees.
Heat pack and Insulation is needed for any temps below 30 at night.
Plants that do NOT handle Below Freezing
We recommend avoiding ordering these plants if your temps are below 32 degrees. These are much more sensitive plants that have a hard time even with a heat pack and insulation.
*Begonias
*Espicia
*Caladium
*Colocasia

Unboxing your plants
When you receive a plant package that was shipped during the winter, there are a few things to do to help with the possible shock. Shock is 100% normal when shipping plants.
*Do not place them immediately near a heater, or under hot grow lights.
*Allow them some time to reach your homes temperature before moving them under lights.
*Before watering, make sure the soil is at least half dry. The worst thing for an already stressed plant would be overwatering.
*If your plants arrive frozen, please reach out to us immediately. We will need pictures of the plants, as well as pictures of the box.
